People genuinely look forward to these experiences each year. Beyond camping, he also stepped up when a Black-owned garden, Odobo, was at risk of shutting down due to a lack of grant funding. Heru took initiative by organizing fundraising events, helping ensure that Odobo could continue to grow and serve the community."
