"Helen served as the Director of Religious Education at my church, Unitarian Universalist Church of Tallahassee, before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic. While their work was commendable prior to a global health crisis, their commitment to the congregation's youth really shined when quarantine and social distancing policies were in effect. Helen took advantage of online platforms and tools to help maintain spiritual connections during a time of severe isolation, such as with regularly scheduled Netflix Parties and individual check-ins. This quickened our youths' ability to readjust after social distancing requirements weakened and every member of our Youth Group cohort returned to in-person engagement and social life with little trouble.

I also had the privilege to witness some of Helen's early adult ministry through services they led during their time with my congregation. Helen has always been engaging, timely, and able to deliver messages that appealed to varied sentiments within our church body. I believe their experience as a DRE also enabled them to create content that was accessible regardless of age, essentially making all of their services multigenerational in nature.

Though no longer in Tallahassee, I have seen some of Helen's work online through social media and can tell that their ministry continues to evolve and mature. Any congregation would do well with their leadership!"
