Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Agriculture Specialist to lead agricultural
training programs in schools, provide expert gardening advice to clients, and oversee garden
setup and maintenance projects. This role provides a balance between field work and teaching
responsibilities with practical consultancy and fieldwork in gardening and sustainable
agriculture.

Key... Responsibilities

1. Agricultural Education & Training
 Deliver engaging and practical agriculture lessons to students.
 Develop curriculum-aligned lesson plans and hands-on activities.
 Organize and facilitate workshops for students, teachers, and school staff.
 Assess student progress and provide feedback.

2. Gardening Advisory & Consultation
 Provide expert guidance to individuals, businesses, and communities on gardening and
sustainable farming.
 Conduct one-on-one and group consultation sessions.
 Develop educational materials, blog content, and videos on gardening best practices.
 Stay updated on sustainable gardening trends and innovations.

3. Garden/ Farm Setup & Maintenance
 Lead and supervise garden/ farm setup projects for homes, businesses, and schools.
 Provide maintenance services, including soil health management, pest control, and
irrigation solutions.
 Assist in Green Space’s vegetable production activities.
 Train clients on garden upkeep and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
 Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
 Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience or agricultural extension work.
 Strong knowledge of organic farming, permaculture, and sustainable gardening practices.
 Excellent communication and training skills.
 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in field environments.
 Passion for education, sustainability, and community impact.
Preferred Skills
 Experience in hands-on garden setup and maintenance.
 Ability to create educational content (blog articles, videos, presentations).
 Business development mindset to identify new opportunities in garden consultancy
