Grant Owusu

"I have known and worked with Grant Owusu in different capacities. I worked with him in the healthcare field where I was his supervisor. I have also worked with him on various academic and social projects. Over the years of working with him, some things have stood out about him that have made myself and other people take pleasure in working and relating with him.
Grant is an affable team player that is willing to make personal sacrifices for the cohesion and success of the team. He works on promoting an environment predicated on the mantra the success of the team supersedes individual success. This does not diminish individual success from his viewpoint. It just reinforces his belief that when the team is successful the individual could also be successful. Thus, he channels his energy towards fostering good relationships in teams that he is part of.
Due to his commitment to teamwork, he always ensures he completes his tasks on time and effectively. He is, therefore, very reliable. When I was his supervisor, I could always rely on him to get his assigned tasks completed in a timely manner. When he completes his tasks, he will also try to help others who are behind on theirs. This reflects his care and compassion for others.
One strength Grant has is when he embarks on a project he commits to the project and sees it through to the end, even when faced with significant obstacles. He is accomplishment driven and has chalked successes due to that. He is not easily discouraged and finds ways to motivate himself towards his objectives.
I believe Grant has the fortitude to be successful in any environment he is given the opportunity to function in, and as such I fully recommend him to any institution or avenue where he is being considered for admission.
