About

I am a Human Resource Management professional and counseling psychology practitioner with a strong passion for supporting people through some of life’s most difficult experiences. I hold a Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology, all from Makerere University. I am currently awaiting graduation with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Makerere University. My professional and personal journey has strengthened my commitment to helping people, both young and old, navigate experiences of loss, betrayal, grief, trauma, and tragedy. I believe that sometimes what a person needs most during a difficult season is someone who will listen without judgment, offer hope, and walk alongside them as they rebuild their lives. I have had the opportunity to interact and work with patients at the Cancer Institute, an experience that deepened my appreciation of the emotional, social, and practical challenges faced by individuals and families dealing with cancer. This experience inspired me to think beyond counseling and explore practical ways of supporting patients. In particular, I am passionate about developing a fundraising initiative to help provide transportation assistance to cancer patients who travel long distances to access treatment. I believe that no patient should have to miss or delay essential treatment simply because they cannot afford the cost of transport. Beyond my professional interests, I am a proud mother who values family, resilience, compassion, and community. I am also a passionate farmer, an interest that keeps me grounded and gives me a sense of purpose, patience, and connection with nature. At the heart of everything I do is a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I hope to continue using my knowledge, experience, and compassion to support individuals and families, particularly those going through difficult transitions, while also contributing to initiatives that improve access to practical and emotional support for vulnerable communities. **My vision is to help people find hope, regain their strength, and move forward with dignity, even after life's most difficult experiences. **
