  • Job description:
  • Inventory management - perform cycle counts, complete reconciliations, monitor inventory transactions, continually sort out inventory issues as they arise.
  • Dispatching - Inspecting, counting and directing outbound goods, completing all paperwork on time.
  • Warehouse management-proper inspection of all security parameters around the warehouse entry points.
  • Update transactions in Oracle software.
  • Receive and verify quantity and condition of products coming to the warehouse.
  • Assisting the Warehouse manager, ensuring inter-departmental teamwork and co-operation at all levels by communicating accordingly.
  • Warehousing and distribution.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is correctly prepared for invoicing and handed directly to the dispatch manager for approval ready for invoicing on time.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the focus on checking company assets and equipment to ensure proper use is observed by everyone.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with cliental at all times.
  • Advise management of unsafe working conditions, and provide recommendations for improvement, example provision of proper PPE’s.
  • To maintain a level of productivity, set by the picking performance criteria to ensure a fair and even distribution of the workload throughout the workforce
  • To ensure FIFO and FEFO principles are observed at all times.
  • Supervising on pulling inventory from stockroom and work orders.
  • Make sure work area is clean and organized at all times.
