"Amazing doctor"

"Dr Ducci has been pivotal in my mental health recovery journey.
i was lucky enough to come across her profile just by a google search.
I had just got given a diagnose for BPD and after a consultation with Dr Ducci, she recommended to start SSRI. I was very scared and sceptical about it but Dr Ducci was very understanding and took time to explain everything i needed to know and reassure me regarding the side effects.
2 years later i can say that we have been through a very complicated journey but her professionalism and understanding has been fundamental. I am a different person and I definitely will always be thankful to Dr Ducci for this. "

"I consulted with Dr. Ducci in 2015 after moving to England, hoping to continue the therapy I had been receiving in Italy. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing

In 2020, I requested a medical consultation to evaluate the possibility of an alternative treatment. I was prescribed a high dose of bupropion, which caused severe side effects: severe headaches, photophobia, difficulty concentrating, racing thoughts, manic and aggressive behavior, insomnia, and a significant impairment of my ability to work.
My requests for follow-ups were always met with reluctance and processed very slowly, despite the fact that I had repeatedly reported my symptoms and concerns, and despite the fact that the consultations were paid for. I felt particularly abandoned. The situation worsened as the therapy began during the COVID quarantine. I felt particularly abandoned, especially at such a delicate time as the beginning of the quarantine, when isolation, confusion, and uncertainty exacerbated my need for assistance and reassurance about the new therapy and its side effects.
To remedy the poor care I received and the side effects, I had to return to Italy and undergo a day hospital program at a psychiatric hospital for a period of 6 months, in order to recover my cognitive and emotional stability and be able to resume an adequate social and working life.
It is paradoxical how in a private setting, where one expects personalized and attentive care, I experienced such a clear lack of empathy and understanding.
