About

I am a dedicated Peer Support Worker, Group Facilitator, Volunteer Youth Mentor, and Founder of MenoThrive Wellness Inc., committed to improving the well-being of individuals and communities through education, advocacy, and compassionate support. With over eight years of experience in mental health, addiction, homelessness, and community services, I provide one-on-one peer support and facilitate trauma-informed groups for individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges. Using a recovery-oriented, person-centred approach, I help individuals build resilience, strengthen coping skills, navigate community resources, and achieve their personal recovery goals. I have extensive experience designing and facilitating psychoeducational and peer support groups for survivors of gender-based violence, Black women experiencing mental health challenges, older adults, and other underserved populations. I also volunteer as a Black youth mentor, supporting young people through mentorship, encouragement, positive role modelling, and personal development. My work is rooted in creating safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environments that foster healing, connection, empowerment, and growth. As the Founder and Creator of MenoThrive Wellness Inc., I develop and facilitate evidence-informed menopause education, support groups, and wellness programs that empower women to navigate perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause with knowledge, confidence, and dignity. My expertise includes peer support, group facilitation, mental health and addiction recovery, trauma-informed care, homelessness support, crisis intervention, program development, health promotion, community engagement, wellness education, and mentorship. I am passionate about empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building healthier, more resilient communities through compassionate, person-centred care and collaborative leadership. I welcome opportunities to connect with professionals and organizations dedicated to advancing mental health, addiction recovery, women’s health, youth development, community wellness, and social impact.
