Estácio Rajá sees himself as a multifaceted individual, taking on various roles as a manager, academic, and entrepreneur. He began his professional career at the Finance Department of Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM), progressively assuming various roles and earning several promotions first as Head of the Central Department, then as Deputy National Director, and finally ascending to the position of National Director of Finance. He boasts a Master's degree in Business Management and is in the concluding phase of his Doctorate in Management. As the financial director of UEM, he is the primary responsible for the financial management of the country's oldest and largest higher education institution,  with about 50,000 students and 5,000 employees spread across various parts of the country. He leads a  team of more than 40 people divided into 5 departments with the responsibility for a budget exceeding  55 million dollars annually.    In the academic facet, he is a university lecturer at the Faculty of Economics (FACECO) at UEM, teaching  at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the areas of Marketing, Operations Management, and Research Methods. He is involved in research activities and is currently in the final phase of his doctoral thesis in management, having already published 2 peer-reviewed scientific articles. As an independent consultant and entrepreneur, he has always made use of his abilities and skills for the benefit of society, actively contributing to the development of solutions to the country's problems at various levels. Thus, he has developed various consultancy and technical advisory works for different branches of the national entrepreneurship through studies, research, training of personnel, and support in the design of various business management and corporate strategy tools. He is also the co-founder, shareholder, and manager of one of the country's first e-commerce companies, offering the ticket sales; and event management platform named Bilhetes Online (www.bilhetesonline.co.mz). This platform has helped to popularize the use of electronic stores and introduced innovations in event management in the country, selling more than 45,000 tickets per year. Its success and notoriety have enabled its international expansion to Angola. The continuous challenge of transforming ideas into practical and innovative solutions for problem-solving and satisfying the pressing needs of Mozambican society is among his  objectives in this area.
