"I am a high school mathematics teacher, and I have worked with Erin as her tutor from middle school through high school at Mathnasium.

Erin has always been a hardworking, conscientious student who consistently strives to improve. She was one of the most diligent students I’ve worked with, which made instructing and guiding her both enjoyable and productive. She regularly asked thoughtful questions (whether to clarify a concept, check her work, or seek direction on how to solve a problem).

She was always receptive to feedback, readily incorporating study techniques and note-taking strategies I suggested. One moment that stood out was when she chose to retake the Algebra I Regents exam just to achieve a higher score, despite earning a solid one. That decision reflected her attention to detail, commitment to academic growth, and seriousness about her college applications.

She was always studious, a pleasure to work with, and easy to talk to. At Mathnasium, she has served as a lead instructor, helping other students in the center. Working with her over many years and watching her grow has been a unique and rewarding experience.
