"It was a great pleasure to home-tutor Emily Granados in both Global and United States History. while she was in high school.. Emily was an extraordinarily dedicated, responsible, and motivated student.
Although Emily has faced significant medical struggles in the past, she has managed to remain focused, committed to her studies, and eager to pursue new challenges. The hardships that Emily has faced have made her a stronger, more compassionate individual who is committed to helping others. Her fortitude and determination have helped her overcome many challenges that most could not imagine. Through all, she maintains a positive attitude and always looks for the best in people and situations.
Emily is very bright and is politically aware. She reads, listens to the news, and follows current events regularly. She is very articulate and can apply new information easily. Emily and I always enjoyed having invigorated political discussions about the latest campaign news. It was so nice to listen to her honest interest and astute observations of political events. Not only does Emily possess excellent communication skills, but also her written work was equally impressive. Her assignments reflected careful attention to detail, thorough critical analysis, and complete application of knowledge. She can quickly draw analogies from current knowledge to past events. Her written work reflected a sound understanding of grammar and spelling and the ability to evaluate, analyze, and clearly interpret new information.
In addition to her academic interests Emily is also passionate about music. She is an accomplished musician who enjoys playing music as well as listening to her favorite bands. Her entrepreneurial skills have enabled her to manage venues and arrange sales of tickets for both old and new bands performing at local establishments.
Emily is sensitive to the needs of others. Her observations and comments demonstrate her true compassion. She has a unique ability to put others at ease and make them feel comfortable. She possesses the highest level of integrity and is very personable. It is with great pleasure that I recommend Emily Granados. I truly believe she will be an asset to any organization or institution of higher learning.
