About

Making sure that my clients are happy has made me realize the importance of being a good listener. Timelines are key in my line of work and thus I have plans in advance. I know that people give me a different perspective to an issue and thus am not shy from hearing what others have to say

Work experience
  • I have ensured that I have captured & maintained membership data by constant updating new entries and deleting those who have left a particular scheme.
  • I have attended customer queries regarding policy issues and claims related matters and educated them on the importance of submitting claims on time to avoid time lapse hence nonpayment.
  • Assisting in tender preparation. I have helped in filling tender documents and getting quotes from underwriters and negotiating for the best possible offer. Recently we got 83 million contracts and that makes me feel good that I was part of the process that achieved this.
  • Timely issuance of debit note, credit notes and timely collection of premiums. I ensure the time between onboarding a client and payment does not exceed a month by making invoices on time and making constant reminders to avoid interruption of services.
  • Ensuring timely issuance of medical cards for our clients. This is possible by sending constant reminders to underwriters hence having client satisfaction.

  • 100 claims were registered by me on average and this helped in reducing backlog.
  • I checked and confirmed membership validity and benefits by writing emails to our underwriting team and our regional partner in Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi
  • I advised the approver on any peculiarities noted in the claims from the group provider especially where there was suspected fraud.
  • Liaising with the underwriting sections on scopes of cover for various schemes. This involved knowing which member was covered and how much is there cover limits.
