"I am writing in reference to Eliud Bundi Ondara. We have been friends for the past eight (8) years, and I have always known him to be an ambitious, team player, a mentor and highly motivated person. I believe that his self-starting tendencies and strong vision make him an ideal candidate for the position of a Permanent Secretary or Cabinet Secretary in future
When I met Ondara, he had been working as a sub-county youth officer in-charge of two sub-counties [Teso North and Teso South Sub-Counties] and was pursuing a Master of Project Planning and Mangement. We initially connected at a community event, and I could immediately see that he is a driven individual with substantial potential. Over the years, we have volunteered for several neighborhood initiatives, which allowed me to see his leadership and teamwork skills firsthand. The last activities we did under his leadership and coordination was child protection awareness, the available financial opportunities available in Kenya for the young entrepreneurs, how to open, register business with government and managing the business.
In the past three years, Ondara has also obtained his Master’s Degree in Project Planning and Management, completed his management course at Kenya School of Government (KSG). During his time as a Youth Officer for the two Sub-Counties, he has progressed from being a Sub-County Officer to a Director Department of Social Services in Migori County. His mentorship skills, strong self-motivation and leadership capabilities make him highly qualified for the position of Permanent Secretary or Cabinet Secretary in the Kenyan Government. Given his experience, qualifications and constant improvement, I believe he will be a top performer in the Government.
