"I've seen Eef perform live probably a dozen times and hosted him to play in my home a couple times. He's a fun musician and a great story-teller. He's a delight to be around and I find him hilarious. Around twelve years ago, I listened to one of his CDs on repeat in my car for literal months. Then, while on a road trip I decided to switch CDs and Eef's CD wouldn't eject from the car stereo. When I arrived at my destination and my car cooled off, the CD came out giving me the opportunity to listen to something else. After about five seconds of hesitation, I put it back in and listened to it for another few weeks. If I were stuck on a desert island and only got access to ten albums, Girls Come First would be one of them."

His Bitter Honey album has been a constant in my playlist for nearly 20 years... every song is phenomenal. I ended up connecting with him near the end of the Covid pandemic, and booked him for a home show.
