Based in Kigoma, we focus on education, gender equality, human rights, economic empowerment, environmental conservation, and social protection.

Role Overview:
KIOO is seeking a part-time Resource Mobilization Manager Intern to... support our fundraising, partnership-building, and donor engagement efforts. This 12-month internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in resource mobilization and contribute to impactful initiatives in Kigoma and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
Research potential funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and partnerships.
Assist in drafting and refining proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Support the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
Develop communication materials such as newsletters, presentations, and impact stories to engage donors.
Analyze donor trends and suggest strategies for strengthening resource mobilization efforts.
Work closely with other departments to align resource mobilization activities with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, or a related field.
Strong writing and communication skills in English and Swahili.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
Basic knowledge of fundraising and donor engagement principles is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively in a part-time role.
