About

Emmett Doyle is a lifelong martial artist, author, and educator with over three decades of experience across multiple combat disciplines. As the senior instructor of Shin Ken Goshin Jutsu, a practical self-defense system under the Dragon Allstyle Martial Arts Federation, he has taught hundreds of students and continues to refine his approach through rigorous study and cross-training. A modern martial ronin, Emmett has immersed himself in a wide range of systems including Japanese Jujitsu, Karate, Judo, Wing Chun, Muay Thai, internal martial arts like Taiji and Qigong, and various weapons styles. His philosophy centers on adaptability, functional effectiveness, and the pursuit of mastery through lifelong learning. Beyond the dojo, he is the creator of the popular YouTube channel Sensei Emmett, where he interviews martial artists from around the world, shares insights on history and technique, and explores the evolving role of martial arts in today’s world. In 2021, he was inducted into the UK Black Belt Hall of Fame for his contributions to the martial arts community. Emmett is the author of Martial Arts Odyssey, a comprehensive guide to global fighting traditions, and is currently working on an expanded syllabus that bridges traditional martial frameworks with modern needs—emphasizing resilience, inner discipline, and legacy. He represents a unique blend of old-school toughness, deep scholarship, and humble presence—walking the path of martial arts not for titles, but for truth, transformation, and service.
