"I directed Drew in a production of Newsies at Grandstreet Theatre in 2024. He showed up to the first rehearsal full of enthusiasm and energy, and immediately stood out as a a leader within the group. I remember thinking after hearing his character choices in our first read through, "This cast has already put in the work!" He worked equally well with our professional company and our teen conservatory group, and proved to be a favorite among our students during our camp weeks. Drew is a diligent worker, he seeks feedback and opportunities to grow, and he brings a sense of passion and fun to the work. "
