Work experience
  • 1. To coordinate research and development activities of Pulses crop commodity system with international, Federal and provincial Research and Education Institution, Development partners, civil society, farmers & other stakeholders.
  • 2. To indentify research gaps at National level. Promote steps for cultivation of Pulses to increase production / productivity.
  • 3. To develop and maintain database knowledge for Pulses in crop system.
  • 4. To maintain liaison and working relationship with all the stakeholders including private sector organization, NGO’s civil Society and farmers.
  • 5. To acquire and distribute indigenous and exotic germplasm of Pulses.
  • 6. To arrange and supervise National Uniform Yield Trial (NUYT) of Pulses.
  • 7. To arrange annual planning meeting, Variety Evaluation Committee (VEC) meeting, Traveling Seminars and Conferences/Workshops related to Pulses crops.
  • 8. To arrange Training for Capacity Building of Researchers, Academia, Extension Workers, Farmers and other stakeholders for the Pulses crop.
  • 9. Any other function to achieve the above TOR’s and official assignments.
