"Diosa is a fantastic performer, a great poet; her ability to write and deliver her poems about almost anything, instantly switching from English to Spanish so naturally; makes her unique.
She’s always creating and sharing her poetry with and for the community. She’s an advocate of preserving our culture and roots.
She’s a brilliant bilingual woman, educator and compassionate human being."

"It was a joy to welcome Diosa Xochiquetzalcoatl to FLUP 2022, where we also welcomed poets from Abya Yala, a territory increasingly threatened (and equally resilient) by the surprising reinterpretation of imperialism by the increasingly astonishing (and hateful) Donald Trump. Diosa Xochiquetzalcoatl's poetry, which she also submitted to a poetry competition exclusively for Indigenous artists, is the antithesis and antidote to White supremacy, Christian supremacy, and Patriarchal supremacy. In fact, her poetry deconstructs (without their knowledge) all forms of supremacy, bursting forth with beauty and power from all spaces synonymous with diversity, in the broadest sense of the word. Read Diosa Xochiquetzalcoatl.
