I am pleased to recommend you Denise for your undergraduate program. I’ve known Denise for 4 years now as her Mathematics instructor and she has been one of the most remarkable students in her year. Denise was one of the students who prioritized all courses especially mathematics and showed great improvement for the time she was my student. But what I really appreciated is how she wasn’t afraid of asking questions and she could give further explanations to her peers as I explained in class.

Denise is a hardworking and curious girl who excels at anything she puts her mind to. I always wondered if her curiosity was of good intention, but it really went to good use. After giving Denise her very first report, she told me she wanted to work harder to excel in Mathematics and to prove herself and she did, scoring the highest marks in her whole grade where she was in 2% of the class in mathematics performance statistics of the school. When I asked Denise how she managed that, she told me she spared more hours after class for doing research and more exercises of her own. Moreover, the need to achieve more broaden her love for Mathematics that the class work was like a way to gain more skills.

To help her classmates get good grades, Denise helped each one to understand difficult topics and later created study groups where her colleagues could get more explanations after class. Every student even from other classes were happy to approach her for explanations. She further went to create study groups for students in lower classes and taught them and shared some tips on excelling in Mathematics. In addition, she set an example among all students as she tried to balance each thing be it extracurricular activities or class-related ones.

I believe that Denise will thrive in any academic institution that she will be part of. With four years we spent together, she has proven to be one of my best students. I have no doubt that she will be of positive influence wherever she will spend the next four years.
