Work experience
  • designing, developing, testing, and supporting of data collection and management systems. SQL databases (MySQL) were used and Java and Python as the main programming languages.
  • Develop and roll-out data analysis and visualization tools for the program. The development of these visuals improve program data use for decision-making. One notable milestone is an improvement in defaulter tracing turnaround time from 7 to 3 days which improve patient retention on care. Tools used include Excel dashboards and PowerBI.
  • development and implementation of digital health applications, including those developed internally and by HIS implementing partners. Development, deployment, and adoption of these systems led to cost-saving and improved patient care. I support the roll-out and scale-up of Ushauri, an appointment management mHealth application across the 63 supported health facilities. Additionally, I developed Ushauri dashboards that visualize appointment management data for the program.
  • Ensure successful rollout of Point of Care (POC) of all m-Health applications.
