David Moliner

"I had the pleasure of attending two masterclasses with David Moliner, and both experiences were extremely valuable, both musically and compositionally.

David is an outstanding teacher, with a remarkable knowledge of percussion and a very attentive approach to music. What I appreciated most was that his feedback went far beyond technical aspects: he encouraged me to think more deeply about the musical material, the relationship between sound and gesture, and the importance of clarity, balance and essentiality in composition.

His approach is direct, constructive and inspiring. His comments often made me reconsider my choices and look at my own music from a different perspective, which I found particularly valuable as a composer.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to share my work with him, and I sincerely hope that this experience will also lead to future opportunities for my music to be performed and, perhaps, to new commissions for my works."
