Work experience
  • I have worked with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and rose to the Position of Principal Marketing Officer for exactly eleven (13) years as at May 2022. My responsibilities entails, among many, generating new clients while managing/maintaining relationships with the existing ones. I have generated revenue through the sales of airtime, advertising and production of adverts jingles. I have prepared, presented and forwarded sales report and reconciled Advertising agencies’ accounts in headquarters Abuja on monthly and quarterly basis. As a fundamental function in coordinating corporate flow of information.
  • I have managed my office Marketing Information Service (MIS) and Business Development Unit using Microsoft Office suite, especially the MS Excelformat and all real time correspondences with NTA Headquarters Abuja about six (6) years. I have also arranged for meetings and presentations for the members of my departments and our clients and conducted regular Marketing Intelligence activities. By so doing, we have achieved our allocated sales revenue targets as a marketing team. Moreover, I contribute to the development of the NTA’s Marketing and Sales Plan.
  • I have participated in the administration of the Marketing Directorate and its related training programmes. I supported staff to develop their ability to manage their careers that also ensure best fit matches personal traits to job factors. To our clients, I am part of the team that offers investment and advisory business development efforts, execution, implementation and supervision of such activities.
  • I often participate in program coordination, public relations, media and documentation as well as obtaining press coverage for special events and organizing media events such as: press conference, interviews, meeting with media representatives, and maintaining a media contact list for other organizations. Generally, I have experience in corporate communications and media (TV and Radio) program content development. I have also participated in organizing media/special events, researching and writing for the media. I also undertake operational duties – clerical work, driving, programmes monitoring, reporting and interview, etcetera.
