I have worked with Ms Daniela on many occasions during my time at Joel Nafuma Refugee Centre, mainly on anything involving community service and volunteering. For all the projects, Ms Daniela not has been an essential part of the creative and logistic processes, but she has also instilled in her guests (refugees) a sense of purpose and belonging, acceptance and commitment.

It is precisely her empathetic nature that sets Ms Daniela apart. My first experience with Ms Daniela was in JNRC, a refugee centre in the heart of Rome, Italy. I was instantly impressed with her deep passion for supporting marginalized communities in Rome. Her soothing demeanour and warm personality are two qualities that have been relatively rare to find in my experience at JNRC.

overall, Ms Daniela exhibits all the qualities of a transformative leader and the ones of a great person who has ample experience in community service and refugees.
