As the Head of the Department of Internal Audit, I am responsible for directing and controlling all activities of the department including providing expert advice to the Board of Directors on various accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with tax, legislative, and statutory requirements, treasury and working capital management. With over 8 years of experience in the accounting profession, I have contributed to improving the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting processes, optimizing the cash flow forecasting and budgeting systems, and overseeing multiple audits and tax compliance. I have also leveraged my skills in Oracle ERP, Sage 50, Microsoft Office, and Tally ERP to automate and streamline accounting operations and enhance data quality and security. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana, and an ACCA final-level student. I have a strong background in accounting, finance, audit, and tax, as well as a solid understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the local accounting standards and regulations. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies and staying updated on the latest developments and trends in the accounting and finance industry.
