"Connelly doesn’t have an ego. And for a woman that’s as masterful and accomplished as she is, it’s almost a crime. She is a scary good copywriter, and designer, and conceptual thinker but art direction is her weapon of choice. One that she obsessively, I mean OBSESSIVELY works at honing every single day. And she fucking murders. Don’t trust me - check out her portfolio. See it for yourself. Feel the art direction bleed through the page. If I could bet on Connelly’s success through Kalshi or Polymarket or something, I would empty my bank account in a nanosecoond. Because I saw her painstakingly develop ideas and come out strong. I saw her seek out criticism constantly to get better and she listened and she did. I witnessed how she handles pressure (very cool, literally) and got to see her thought process behind her work and the intention she wanted to get across come to life. And I also saw her always being the one to initiate things for our crazy group of 16 at The Academy at GS&P to do (a natural leader to the bone), and I also saw her work full-time in EdTech, take off that hat, come to class, and put on her creative hat then make something so good it’ll give you nightmares, or at the very least say to yourself “I need to work more”. You can hear it in her tone. You can see it in her composure. That focus, that aura, that conscientiousness, that - I could go on and on about Connelly. She is phenomenal, both as a friend, and as a colleague. Get to know the same marvelous art director I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with. I swear she doesn’t bite :)"
