  • For the past four years, I have studied meteorology at the University of Nairobi, where I have gained a broad understanding of the discipline, including climate change and variability, understanding the effects of human activities on the environment, particularly the atmosphere, such as global warming, and applying that knowledge to reduce the effects, primarily in my residential area, through awareness and sensitization. Because of my strong interest in environmental protection and my determined mentality, I was able to accomplish this. Through agrometeorology, I am able to investigate the behavior of meteorological factors that are directly related to agriculture and their impact on crop output which is a remarkable achievement in cropping system planning. This expertise has aided me in developing and disseminating forecasts for quantitative precipitation, heavy rain, and heavy snow, as well as identifying areas at danger of flash flooding. My background in climatology, mesoscale and synoptic meteorology, and geosciences has been quite beneficial in this regard.
  • I’m also a computer science student. I’ve learned how to use word processing software, connect to the Internet, handle files, and make presentations. Most notably, I’ve learned about Email marketing, Content management systems, Website analytics, Social media management, Search Engine Optimisation, Pay-per-click advertising, and Content marketing.
  • Communication and motivation are two of my strongest assets. I have given sensitisation talks at a number of environmental conservation seminars and workshops, as well as motivational talks at various high schools. I was born with natural leadership abilities that have always made me a leader, whether or not in a position of authority. I am capable of managing and ensuring that everything is in working order. I’m a big problem solver and a bit of a perfectionist. This personality attribute has aided me greatly in environmental protection. I am also an excellent risk manager who can navigate any situation.
