"I have known Charles for over 10 years. I first met him as a tenant in an apartment complex which I had purchased. Charles introduced himself as I was getting to know all the tenants in the building. Charles has been very helpful to me as he cares about where he lives and people who live there, although many of those people have changed over the years his caring about other has not. He is well read and through his life has educated himself and through others who have mentored him. He always ready with a wonderful greeting and smile to all those I have seen him with, including prospective tenants whom he doesn't even know, he is there to greet them as I show them around if he is present. Charles is a hard worker who takes his jobs seriously. He has been a great tenant and in many cases, a friend. We get a chance to talk now and then about things outside a landlord/tenant relationship. Charles also helps neighbors shovel snow and will often check on them to make sure they are OK. If Charles needs something to help others and I can help I have lent him tools and other supplies because he was out helping other people and I trust him. He has always brought things back and I have trusted him with several items. "
