About

I'm Cameron Lee Cowan, a decade-plus veteran of The Cameron Journal—"The World is Hard, This is Not"—where I've honed research, storytelling, and trend analysis across society, politics, and business. My path through small and medium businesses—from street-hustling investments in McDonald's lots to launching magazines, podcasts, and branding ventures like 3800 Omnimedia—taught me the grit of real-world ops, betrayals, and breakthroughs. Now, via Cameron Journal for Business, I deliver messaging audits, fundraising strategies, and consulting that turn founder visions into client wins for nonprofits and services firms.
