(Data management) The organization ably purchased quality cocoa from cooperatives having established a well-coordinated system.

  • Conducted training of farmers in VSLA, SACCO & linkage to other savings and loan models and this resulted into increased numbers joining these associations. This resulted to farmers’ socio status being improved hence registration of farmers to association groups.

  • Monitored and assisted field staff in planning their field operations using necessary approved tools and evaluating their performance that enabled efficient delivery of services. This improved on effectiveness of resource utilization and provision back stopping.

  • Supervised the role of project accountant to ensure smooth operations and compliance with set finance policies and procedures. Financial compliances were archived for effective utilization of resources.
  • Accelerated the establishment of (3) new cocoa buying and processing centers with an aim of increasing purchase volumes of cocoa but also maintaining cocoa quality. The union boosted purchase volumes by 60%.
