Work experience
  • As a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) professional, I lead the planning and execution of M&E activities for Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) interventions, with strategic support from the national M&E team. I oversee comprehensive data collection, management, and reporting processes across all phases of SMC drug administration, including coordination of sentinel site monitoring. My role includes maintaining and updating a high-quality SMC personnel database in alignment with established protocols for personnel replacement.
  • I routinely monitor project performance against set targets, generating monthly and periodic reports based on the micro plan to track implementation efficiency. I conduct in-depth data reviews and provide analytical feedback to Local Government Areas (LGAs) and other stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making at the state and national levels. Working closely with state and LGA health authorities, I facilitate timely data reporting from all participating health facilities using context-specific mechanisms.
  • As part of quality assurance, I engage in supervisory visits to SMC sites, ensuring that identified performance gaps are addressed through corrective action plans. I participate in Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) surveys, guiding data analysis, feedback dissemination, and implementation of performance improvement plans tailored to individual facilities.
  • I champion community engagement by supporting the development of feedback and response mechanisms that reflect the needs of beneficiaries. I ensure that all feedback is documented, analyzed, and used to inform program adaptation and accountability practices. I also ensure timely availability of high-quality data for program planning, decision-making, and donor reporting.
  • Additionally, I support evaluations, learning activities, and end-of-cycle review meetings to drive continuous improvement. I perform all assigned duties in alignment with best practices in MEAL and organizational goals, contributing to impactful, data-driven public health interventions.
