"I serve as Programming Director on the board of the New Hampshire Writers’ Project (NHWP), a nonprofit organization founded in 1988 to support and promote the literary arts in the Granite State. I had the privilege of working with Beth Ellis D’Ovidio when she worked as the Marketing Director for the organization.
Beth was always a pleasure to work with. Her marketing output was of the highest quality. She was supportive of our mission and responsive to our various needs. She is well-grounded in the marketing discipline and had a thorough grasp of all the tools we use, including our social media accounts, our website, graphic design, and our customer relation software. She maintained a network of key contacts, including local media, schools, and libraries, with whom she communicated our news and events.
She provided marketing support to individual members of NHWP who were looking for guidance on how to promote existing or pending publications. She also taught two sessions of a course on this topic at our 2023 annual writers’ conference entitled, “Pinch Your Nose and Dive In: Just Market That Book!” Both her sessions were the most highly attended at that event and received outstanding reviews from the attendees.
In short, I would highly recommend Beth for any marketing position. Don’t hesitate to contact me at ronstokes48@gmail.com if you have any questions.
