  • Staff Support: Assist hotel employees with technical issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Guest Support: Provide support to guests for issues like Wi-Fi connectivity, in-room technology (TVs, telephones), and any digital hotel services (e.g., mobile check-ins).
  • Help Desk Assistance: Manage IT helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
  • 2. Network and Wi-Fi Management:
  • Monitor and maintain the hotel’s internal network (LAN/WAN).
  • Assist with the configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Wi-Fi for guest use.
  • Ensure proper network security measures, such as managing firewalls, access points, and VPNs for secure connections.
  • 3. System and Hardware Maintenance:
  • Maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals used by hotel staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance on servers and ensure backups of critical data.
  • Ensure that Point of Sale (POS) systems, booking software, and other critical hotel applications are functioning properly.
  • 4. Software and Application Support:
  • Assist in the management and support of hotel management software, reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Protel), and other specialized applications.
