Bence Farkas

"Professor Farkas is one of the most outstanding teachers and musicians I have ever had the privilege of working with.

Although I already had some background in composition when we began working together, he was the one who introduced me to the fascinating world of film and media scoring.

We started from the very basics, and by the end of our year-long collaboration, I was able to compose the complete soundtrack for a substantial animated short film. The extensive knowledge he shared with me played a crucial role in making that possible.

Working with him was an exceptional experience. Professor Farkas possesses an impressively broad musical expertise — from Baroque inventions and Romantic harmony to Impressionist orchestration — and he always offers thoughtful, constructive feedback. I also learned a great deal from him about audio mixing and the aesthetics of sound.
