"Asma is probably the best employee I have ever had:
She came to the Home for Needy Elderly that I run, as a volunteer student, while studying for her degree in Environmental Studies. At the time she helped run an ecology workshop for our seniors, and quickly became much beloved in the community. She also soon began helping run events and was a huge help.
Two years later, having graduated, she came to work for me as my assistant:
Asma is trilingual - with fluent Arabic, Hebrew and English. She excells at interpersonal communication, organization, is incredibly intelligent and I have yet to meet someone who didn't respond positively to her upon meeting her- and more so upon getting to know her- her smile is infectious.
Asma was a mainstay at the Home during the corona outbreak, taking over the weekly testing of all residents and staff and coordination with Ministry of Health personnel (she also worked with them doing testing at a local facility, which gave her even more experience with the public and assisted her in testing our seniors- which required great trust).
Asma also worked at the Ministry of Environmental Health for years, receiving calls regarding dangerous chemcals, fires, etc. and responding accordingly.
While she had to leave us, in order to expand her studies (branching out into the tourist industry), she remains a friend to our Home, and even volunteers with us now and again. A real mensch!
