1. Managing the Procurement processes at NRC West Nile, from planning to end user feedback.
2. Implementing the procurement plan as per the delegated portfolio in close contacts with the departmental heads and management
3. Managing the Day to Day follow of progress in project implementation, especially deliveries of program procurement timely.
4. Enforcing compliance with NRC policies logistics tools, handbooks, and guidelines
5. Promoting and sharing of ideas for technical improvement within the department of Logistics for better performance within then team.
6. Preparing reports, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, such reports include, Procurement KPIs, Stock reporting, Asset Reporting, procurement update reports, spend reports, fleet and Fuel consumption reporting
7. Enhancing capacity building of Logistics staff and transfer key skills through regular training of the logistics staffs and non-logistics staffs
8. Liaising and collaborating with relevant local authorities and stakeholders, like district officials, UNHCR and other partners within the humanitarian contexts
9. Carrying out Pre-bid meetings with the service providers or suppliers, this is basically to make sure our stakeholders understand the project they intend to participate under and as well get responses to certain questions relevant to the organizations and the procurement processes.
10. Leading in the negotiation with the selected team , the intention is to achieve value for money.
11. Offering advises to the procurement committee especially on then ethical procurement guidelines.
12. Drafting awards contracts and communicating the feedback between internal and external parties.
13. Carrying out the post award evaluation, especially monitoring the contractual management and periodic reporting of the progress to the contract committee.
14. Managing all the contracts obligations in NRC West Nile, such as construction contracts, purchase and supplies contracts, service contractors’ contracts, partnerships agreements among others
15. Managing and responsible for NRC West Nile, procurement, Stock, Assets, Fleets, Fuel reporting and tracking.
