Work experience

 Led baseline, midline and endline assessments for several studies as required by WFP/FAO.
 Among the studies conducted include: Value Chain Stakeholder Mapping (VCSM), Conflict, Gender and Youth assessment (CGY), Resilience Index Measurement Analysis (RIMA), Post-Harvest loss (PHL) and Market Information systems (MIS) across three districts; Baidoa, Jowhar and Belet-Weyne.
 Conducted desk reviews and developed concept notes, operational guideline and tools used for all the baseline, midline and endline for all the studies mentioned above across the three districts.
 Collaborated with FAO & WFP program teams, local implementing partners and line ministries at federal and member state governments on program design and implementation of the inception phase of the project “Supporting Resilient Smallholder Farming systems in Somalia”
 Trained field staff on qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques and use of ODK and KOBO collect to administered Household survey questionnaires and ensuring quality data is collected through participatory approach in a gender sensitive manner.
 Led field coordination, logistics and mobilization of resources required for above mentioned studies across three districts; Baidoa, Jowhar and Belet-Weyne.

 Lead field verifications, monitoring & evaluation of SDC funded programs in the four domains (food security, governance, health and migration ddomain level).
 Conduct quality assessment on context analysis conducted by local partners in Puntland through FGDs and ensure timely analysis of the changing context
 SDC local IPs in designing, coordinating and conducting project evaluations (mid-term and end-line)
 Capacity build SDC local partner staffs and strengthen management elements in order to address substantial risks to their operation or benefit population.
 Lead in conducting effectiveness and capacity analysis of local implementing partners
 Lead in delivering findings and recommendations for improvement in program management promoting sustainability, inclusivity, equality, transparency and accountability
 Conduct risk and stakeholder mapping for all programs implemented by SDC’s local partners in Puntland.
