My name is Andualem Gezahegn. I have got two MSc Degree in Sustainable Natural Resource Management, Liminology and Aquatic Eco-Toxicology from Dilla and Hawassa Universities. I have also taken different trainings like Project management, Watershed Performance Assessment, Drought Risk Management, Land and Water Resource Management, Land use planning, GIS, Performance management, Consensus building, Facilitation skill, Fund raising, Knowledge and Partnership management and also I have taken different courses related to climate change and society. Experience wise, I have more than ten (10) years of experience in the areas of Environmental protection and watershed management in ministry of water and Energy, Rift Valley Lakes Basin Office. Besides, I had served as project Coordinator of watershed management Directorate, a Joint program funded by Ethiopian Government, for two consecutive year. And am project coordinator of Ecohydrology based landscape management and Cheleleka wetland rehabilitation project working with Hawassa University and different districts. In addition am facilitator of Zeway-Shalla Sub-Basin Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) functioning from GIZ, IWMI and SOS SAHEL. So my team-mindedness, communication skill and versatility would be another asset for the post.
