About
As a compliance specialist, I coordinated the compliance of all required credentials for healthcare professionals on assignment. I supported a workload of 150-200 travelers, maintained 100% compliance on expiring documents, and delivered completed compliance files to facilities per timeline requirements. I have skills in time management, data entry, communication, and customer service.
I am also the founder of Survivor Cards, a nonprofit that empowers and supports survivors of trauma, women, and children through mental health and diverse literacy advocacy. I direct all nonprofit programs and initiatives, such as card drives, walk scheduling and photo album delivery, and facilitate a trauma-informed curriculum. I partner with various agencies and entities, such as YWCA, Lighthouse Youth & Family Services, NYAP, and more, to provide 1000s of cards, resources and referrals for those in need.
My latest initiative is Diversity Book Fairies of Cincinnati, a volunteer-ran network dedicated to getting diverse and traditionally banned books into the hands of children and families around the Cincinnati area via distribution to Little Free Libraries, classrooms, homes, recreation centers, places of worship, correctional facilities and more, for those otherwise lacking transportation and access. We believe that reading diverse literature is crucial for the development of empathy and understanding in young readers, and recognize the importance of seeing themselves as they are, represented in books. In 2023, we collected and distributed over 500 books to classrooms, correctional facilities and more!
I have skills in crisis intervention, information and referral, and community outreach. I am passionate about making a positive impact in the world by combining my skills with my empathy.
