I'm an independent producer and screenwriter who just started her own production company, Doting Bird Productions. This company aims to be an incubator for newcomers, focusing on building a strong foundation through story and script development. I have worked on numerous short films and music videos as a Producer and several national commercials as a production assistant. I was the production coordinator for the video content for the Chicago-based violin-learning app TRALA, and was entrusted by the CEO to direct the last two days of the shoot with world-renowned and Grammy-winning violinist when the director was in a cycling accident. During my time in college, I was also able to intern for SAGindie at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019 where I wrote bios for the speakers in the American Pavilion and set up the environment for the various speaker events. Now that the historic WGA and SAG-Aftra strikes have ended, I will continue my role as a Costume Production Assistant on Chicago Med. I am currently in development for the first two short films that will be produced and distributed through my production company, Doting Bird Productions. However, my vision extends beyond just producing films. I plan to eventually partner with local organizations to assist and provide filmmaking classes and competitions for K-12 students. This initiative aims to inspire the next generation of filmmakers and show them that this is a viable career path, contributing to the growth and diversity of our industry.
