Aliah Sheffield is a world class singer and vocal teacher. She made me feel so comfortable to explore and expand my voice. Aliah always encouraged me, even when I picked really challenging goals like singing Aretha Franklin. She simply said, "yeah I'll help you sing Aretha!" She will always lift you up. However, Aliah ensured my foundation was strong, focusing on breath support and technique so the soul could come out safely. As a singer, Aliah is just phenomenal. She uses her rich, textural, vibrant voice to convey stories with both soul and humor. She can make us listeners laugh and cry all in the same song. Aliah is a born storyteller, helping a lot of people get through tough times with her music. I could not recommend her more highly for anything regarding singing or teaching. It is my dream to one day sing together.
