Alex Gift Ngabonziza

"I had the opportunity to volunteer with Smile Charity Uganda under the leadership of Alex Gift Ngabonziza, where I served as part of the volunteering team for over a year. The work was guided by a clear vision of extending a helping hand to those in need, supported through structured supervision, consistent follow-ups, and accountability processes to ensure program effectiveness and impact. My main involvement was in working closely with children, youth, and the pastors’ wives discipleship fellowship, while also supporting broader activities in the community out reach programs and related documentation. These spaces fostered meaningful engagement with monitored and evaluated impact, mentorship and growth. I appreciated being part of a team committed to delivering practical, faith-based support that genuinely touched lives in the community through education support for children and schools through putting up infrastructure and offering teaching support, food support to the hungry in slums and supporting widows. I confidently endorse Mr. Ngabonziza for being driven by a vision that is implemented in practical and consistent ways."
