  • Under the supervision of the Protection Coordinator, leading day-to-day activities, and collaborate with the other Sector Specialists to oversee GBV Psychosocial Support and counseling activities.
  • Ensures that planning and implementation of the project activities are in accordance with the program principles, approaches, and procedures of the organization.
  • Conduct sector needs assessments, provide technical guidance on appropriate emergency activities and devise sector-specific response strategies focusing on community engagement in prevention activities, and Case Management and Psychosocial support.
  • Work with technical and management coordinators of FHI 360’s Crisis Response team in identifying needs; target locations, supply chain routes, actors, and mechanisms to ensure time-critical assistance is delivered to affected people.
  • Oversee & support the day-to-day implementation of program activities including case management/psychosocial support, follow-up, and advocacy to meet the needs of beneficiaries & strengthening community capacity to prevent & respond to incidents of GBV.
  • Conduct induction/orientation, training, and capacity building of Gender, GBV and protection mainstreaming, PSS/PFA and PSHEA, GBV case management and information management trainings.
  • Coordinate and monitor the overall implementation of GBV protection program activities based on their established indicators, including collecting and analyzing data and information for reporting.
  • Facilitate & arrange emergency cash support/cash for protection for GBV survivors based on ECA SOP and case selection criterions.
  • Facilitate need assessment and support of One Stop Center (OSC).
  • Conduct activity vs budget tracking to make sure that budget spent is according to the project plan and financial management policy.
