About

I am Albertina Mwadhina Abiathar, a registered nurse, midwife, and public health advocate from Namibia with over five years of leadership experience in healthcare delivery and community transformation. I am a 2024 Mandela Washington Fellow, a project management professional (PMP), and the founder of the Community Audio and Video Health Education Program (CAVHEP Foundation), an initiative that translates vital health information into local languages through audio and 3D animated videos for hospitals, clinics, and outreach programs. My work focuses on improving access to healthcare information for women and children, strengthening health literacy, and building healthcare infrastructure through my company, WellSpace Project and Investment CC. Over the years, I have managed clinics, led TB, HIV, and malaria programs, and collaborated with local and international partners to enhance healthcare outcomes in underserved communities. I am currently seeking partnerships, funding opportunities, and global collaborations to expand CAVHEP across Namibia and Africa, as well as professional opportunities in health policy, project management, and healthcare innovation. My long-term vision is to shape inclusive health systems that empower communities and ensure that no child or woman is left behind in accessing quality care.
