I was married to SFC Mark Laurence Roemer, SF /DELTA Force , but I was also in the US Army since 1990. I joined U.S. Army in San Francisco, as 37F Psyops Russian Linguist like e.g. for Radio Liberty in those cold war times. It was Cold War still. I met Mister /Officer SF Allan Shumate at the Special Forces Association Chapter 1/18 in August of 2019. It was a short introduction, I dont remember much, I was afraid. But in September we had 9-11 Event, and October Fest in October 2019, where Allan Shumate broke a barrel of German Beer with a hammer. Allan and his German co-workers were in the photo shoot. Operation. And after that we had Parade with SF Brotherhood bikers, in Fayetteville and Christmas Party at the Chapter 1/18. I endorse Mister Allan Shumate as a wonderful and very experienced and professional Officer of the Special Forces, Military and Professional Financial Civilian individual and as a wonderful Human Being . I think that any organization, who will meet and see and work with Mister ALLAN SHUMATE, will achieve new heights in work and on the human level as co-worker and friend and associate. I am SO PROUD and so content, that Officers like Mister Allan Shumate composed such a extraordinary legion of people, called United States Army Special Forces. Overseas, e.g., in Finland -It was a Top Secret to mention this word: Special Forces. Also my family members (men) were training with US SF in Scandinavian North close to Russia, or in Bavarian forest. It was long time ago. I hope, that Mister ALLAN SHUMATE was in Norway or in Germany to train Finnish forces. Maybe Russian too, but it was very secret then in 1989-1990 -end of Cold war. Mr. Allan SHUMATE, our 2019 Treasury Secretary, was great professional and human. He took great care for our Special Forces Association Chapter 1/18, where I am an Associative member since 1997.08.
I am just an Associate Member, (veteran US Army USACAPOC). I saw how enthusiastic and helpful to other members in Chapter 1/18 Allan Shumate was and is.Allan Shumate communicates and always replies to to emails, what is very important to maintain healthy professional work. Allan Shumate is educated from American University in Washington DC, which is a n IVY University or very close to IVY league ,well connected school close t State Department and CIA and Embassies. It is very hard to get to study in AU. When in the Chapter 1-18, Allan is always , always friendly, always smiling or has smile and open beautiful face, Allan took his responsibility as TREASURY SECRETARY of the SFA Chapter 1/18 very seriously (I think) --he prepared a full report of the funds coming and going, Alla proposed good initiations as how to use our FUNDS seriously and responsibly. Allan always talked with all the members of the Chapter 1/18 and always was friendly and I never was afraid to ask Allan a question. I knew, that Mister Allan Shumate will always give me great feedback: whether it was when I was a Volunteer Photographer for the SFA Chapter 1/18 in 2019 to 2023. Allan Gave me a very good advise and constructive criticism. It was helpful. I do remember how (MAJOR) Mister Steven SOSA liked Allan SHumate, and Steven tried almost always to sit closer to the Leaders, to Alla Shumate in front row to be active and not to miss a thing. The whole atmosphere of being in SFA Chapter 1/18 is so good and friendly because of input of the leadership and input of Mister Alan Shumate was wonderful and intelligent and productive. I think that the Financial Reports for 2019- when Allan was Treasury Secretary, can reflect the best about capabilities and experience and work well done by Allan Shumate. I consider Mister Allan Shumate my friend and compatriot High Ranking Officer at whom I always will look up and will follow. I think that ALLAN IS GREAT for anything he does. I wish to ALLAN a BONNE CHANCE and BUONA FORTUNA and GREAT FORTUNE and Good Luck in Achieving his goals and desires.
