I am an HSE Engineer with over 7 years of professional experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management, including more than 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. I currently work with CNOOC Uganda Limited, where I support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE management systems within a complex Oil & Gas project environment.
Over the course of my career, I have developed extensive experience in HSE engineering, risk assessment and management, workplace inspections and audits, incident investigation, environmental management, contractor HSE management, Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), emergency preparedness and response, lifting operations safety, regulatory compliance, and HSE performance monitoring.
My 5+ years of Oil & Gas experience, as part of my overall 7+ years in HSE, have provided me with practical exposure to the industry’s high-risk operational environment and a strong understanding of the importance of integrating HSE into project execution and day-to-day operations.
I am a proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented HSE professional with strong communication, leadership, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about proactive risk management, safety leadership, continuous improvement, and developing a strong safety culture that protects people, the environment, assets, and business operations.
