I am a nature lover with a passion for integrative and evolutionary biology. My research interests are very broad, with a current focus on plant biodiversity conservation, environmental protection and addressing climate change issues. I am a lover of tropical forest species and actively promote the sustainable and integrated management of plant genetic resources in the wider context of safeguarding humanity. I am committed to interdisciplinary and collaborative research, using diverse approaches and fields, including genetics, botany, ecology, molecular biology, ecophysiology, palaeo-genetics, bioinformatics, computational plant science and floral biology, to advance the cause of healthy, sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.
