About

My website: https://adilmukhi.vercel.app/ ...||... I'm a Grade 10 IB MYP student at Glenforest Secondary School who is dedicated to both academic success and effective leadership. I am a curious student with a passion for improvement, knowledge and trying new things. "With curiosity as my guide, I will never go wrong." Read the specifics below: 👇🏼 In the classroom, I have maintained a 5.17 GPA or a 98% average in Grade 10 Sem 1. Outside of the classroom, I've volunteered for about 1,000 hours, doing anything from campaigning for the Young Canadians Roundtable on Health to performing research with Medicine4Youth and HEAL for Health. As Vice President of both the STEM Fellowship Chapter and the French Club, as well as a Junior Team Lead for Ismaili Volunteers, I oversee activities that combine community, education, and creativity. With certificates in First Aid & CPR/AED Level C, Food Handling, and High Five Training, I'm prepared to assist in a variety of settings, including my work as a summer camp counsellor at a non-profit summer camp. I also co-authored a paper titled "Astrocytoma: From Diagnosis to Management – A Comprehensive Overview," published on the Sunshine 4 Kids Cancer website. Currently, I am also undergoing the peer review process for my research paper titled "From Stress to Forgetfulness: Understanding How Stress Hormones Shape Your Memory" in the Youth Medical Journal. I’m energized by opportunities to explore STEM, community health, and social issues in ways that drive change and make a lasting impact.

"Dr. Interested is an exceptional student-led club that provides valuable insights into the medical profession and helps aspiring students explore pathways to medicine. The club stands out for its engaging webinars, where medical professionals, researchers, and students share their experiences and advice.

One of the most impressive aspects of Dr. Interested is its research proposal competition.... This initiative not only encourages critical thinking and scientific inquiry but also offers top participants the chance to collaborate with executives, undergraduate students, and medical professionals to develop a real research paper.

The leadership team is highly organized, dedicated, and forward-thinking, ensuring that every member benefits from the club’s opportunities. With a strong focus on mentorship, collaboration, and professional development, Dr. Interested is a fantastic initiative for any student looking to gain deeper insights into the medical field.
