Adebayo Adeyemi Michael is a development practitioner, project manager, and social advocate with over a decade of cross-sectoral experience in programme coordination, administrative leadership, and community engagement. He leads impactful projects focused on community development, social behaviour change communication (SBCC), youth advocacy, economic empowerment and skills aquisition and Climate Change. Adeyemi brings a strong academic foundation with an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Business Administration, complemented by a National Diploma in Marine Engineering. His multidisciplinary background fuels a unique approach to problem-solving, team leadership, and strategic project implementation. His expertise spans project design and management, stakeholders engagement, social media marketing, policy drafting, and development advocacy. He has coordinated multiple donor-funded initiatives, facilitated SBCC campaigns, and led field research on gender and equity issues in maternal and neonatal healthcare in Nigeria, climate action and more. In addition to his professional roles, Adeyemi is an active volunteer and peer educator, having contributed to HIV/AIDS outreach in Benue State and served with the National Emergency Management Vanguard during his National Youth Service. He holds several certifications in sustainable development, gender programming, risk management, and community organizing from institutions including YALI, Christian Aid UK, and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. He is a member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria and Nigeria Institute of Management. Adeyemi is passionate about grassroots empowerment, knowledge sharing, and using data-driven strategies to improve lives.
