About

I am a Biostatistician/Epidemiologist with extensive experience in research, publishing, monitoring, and evaluation of different health topics. He has been involved in various types of research, the major one a cohort of more than 2,000 people newly diagnosed with HIV at 20 health facilities in Tanzania, in evaluating the impact of a community health agent intervention on antiretroviral therapy retention and adherence. We also assessed measures of psychosocial and physical well-being, including among people newly diagnosed with HIV. Those measures were depression, as scored by the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), and anxiety, as scored by the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7).
